Transfer

All participants who do not arrive directly to the hotel by their own/rented bus or car will be met at the airport/train station/bus station. Participants and their luggage will be transported by buses from the point of arrival to the hotel and on the day of departure from the hotel to the place of departure.

Local transportation

Tickets for public transportation will be provided by the organizers.

Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival and it is necessary to leave them by 12:00 on the day of departure.

For those arriving earlier, it is possible to leave their luggage in the luggage storage room next to the reception.

For those participants who are unable to have breakfast at the hotel on Sunday due to an early departure, the hotel will provide pre-packed sandwiches. Please indicate the claim as soon as possible.

Registration

Upon arrival at the hotel, all participants are required to register at the Organizing Committee’s registration desk. Participants will be able to collect their accreditation card upon presentation of a valid photo ID.

Getting to the Competition Venue by Tram

The competition venue can be easily reached from the hotel by tram.

From Déli pályaudvar M, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from Mercure Budapest Castle Hill, take tram 17 (direction: Bécsi út / Vörösvári út).

Get off at Komjádi Béla utca stop, this stop is just behind the swimming pool building.

 

Important Information

  1. Please bring your accreditation with you to the competition venue at all times. Wearing your accreditation is a condition of entry. It is also required to have lunch, so please make sure you always have it with you.
  2. On competition days, information points will only be available at the competition venue.
  3. Please note that personal, private lockers are not available in the swimming pool changing rooms. After changing, you may store your equipment and personal belongings in the spectator area by the pool. If you require a lockable locker, you can request a locker key at the reception desk upon payment of a refundable deposit.
  4. The use of clean indoor footwear or flip-flops is mandatory throughout the swimming pool facility.
  5. Wearing a swim cap is mandatory in the pool.
  6. A buffet will be available on site. Payments can be made by card or in Hungarian forints (HUF).
  7. Drinking water and light snacks (fruit and muesli bars) will be provided by the organizers during the competition.
